Was established to promote the benefits of competitive wholesale natural gas and power markets in Mexico and competitive retail access to qualified customers. Our mission is to identify barriers to trade and commerce that if removed would help all energy consumers enjoy lower average prices for these commodities. We recognize that the efforts made by Mexico to vastly redesign its long standing practices for producing, transmitting, and distributing energy commodities are enormous in scope and the individuals working on these tasks deserve an equally enormous debt of gratitude.

Their efforts have not gone unappreciated. However, there is much to be done and the process of improving the natural gas and power markets is one that is continuous and progresses unabated.
